What we collect

New Rebel Radio is operated by New Rebel Records. If you create an account to sync your likes across devices, the only personal information we store is your email address. We don't ask for your name, location, phone number, or any other identifying details.

If you don't sign in, your likes and dislikes are stored against an anonymous random identifier in your browser's local storage. That identifier is not tied to you personally and is not shared with third parties.

How we use it

Your email is used for two things:

  • Signing you in and syncing your likes across your devices.
  • If you opted in at signup, occasional updates from New Rebel Records — new releases, station news, that sort of thing. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your likes and dislikes feed back into the station's rotation so loved songs play a bit more often and unloved songs play a bit less. That's it.

What we will never do

  • We will never sell your email address or any other data, to anyone, for any reason.
  • We will never share your email address with another company for their marketing. The only sender will ever be New Rebel Records.
  • We will never use your data to build advertising profiles.

Opting out and deleting your data

You can opt out of marketing emails any time from the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, email privacy@newrebelrecords.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use minimal first-party browser storage to remember your device and your sign-in session. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
